Level 7 Pool Works

Remedial works to the pool structure, pool terrace and associated waterproofing works to the pool area located on level 7. The subject pool structure suffered from major leaking problems and structural inadequacy. The following works were carried out:

• Concrete cancer repairs to existing structure
• Complete stripping and diamond grinding of existing waterproof membrane
• Surface preparation, application of new waterproof membrane and associated waterproofing details to eliminate water penetration to the residential occupancies below
• Placement of reinforcement steel and concreting of a new pool vessel and pool coping beams, specifically designed to be supported on bearings set into the base
• Waterproofing & tiling to the new pool vessel and surrounding areas
• Installation of the pool pumps & associated equipments
• Installation of compliant balustrade system and pool ladders

The above mentioned works were supervised and certified by Remedial Waterproofing Engineer (Richard Cortis Pty Ltd) & Structural Engineer (Majcon Consulting Pty Ltd)
